Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
I have been an attorney for over 20 years. I have had my own law firm since 2003.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide legal representation for people who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started practice with a large insurance defense firm, then left to open the local law office for one of Kentucky's premier injury attorneys. After 8 years there, I decided to open my own office.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We treat each client with the utmost respect and compassion. We practice with integrity. And, we work hard to achieve fair results.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one office in Lexington. Eventually, I would like to hire more attorneys in order to help more people.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are on the corner of West Jefferson and West Second in the historic West Jefferson Place building. We have plenty of free parking.
What type of payments do you accept?
Injury cases are done on a contingency fee which comes off the top of what we recover for our clients. Expenses are deducted after the fee. If we don't recover money for the client, the client owes us nothing.
Which areas do you service?
We are licensed to practice in all courts within Kentucky. We serve Lexington (Fayette County), all surrounding counties (Madison, Scott, Woodford, Jessamine, Clark, Bourbon) and many other counties throughout Kentucky.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Julie Butcher is the owner and manager of the firm.
What are your hours of operation?
Generally, we are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. But, we are very flexible and will meet in the evenings and weekends whenever needed. We will also come to your home or to the hospital if you can't come to us.
